Community Channels

Building faith communities

Community channels are spaces for members to connect, share, and grow together in faith.

Channel expectations

  • Treat every member with dignity and Christian love
  • Prayer requests are sacred - respond with kindness and intercession
  • Anonymous prayer posts must be honoured - do not attempt to identify the poster
  • Creators and channel admins may pin important posts and remove content that violates these guidelines
  • Repeated disruption or harassment of community members will result in removal

  • Impersonating another user, creator, church, or public figure

Tipping and Support

Creator support

Worsship's support feature allows members to gift creators as an expression of gratitude.

Support rules

  • Tips are voluntary expressions of appreciation - creators must never pressure or solicit them
  • All transactions are final and non-refundable except where required by law
  • Do not use the support feature for commercial transactions unrelated to creator appreciation
  • Attempting to manipulate or exploit the wallet or payment system is grounds for immediate account termination

Music and Copyright

Using music on Worsship

Worsship provides a licensed music library for use in your posts. Creators must respect ownership rights when sharing music.

Music guidelines

  • You may attach tracks from the Worsship music library to your posts without restriction
  • If an artist shares their original music with you directly, ensure you have permission to use it before posting

Copyright violations

  • Do not upload content containing copyrighted music you do not own or have explicit permission to use
  • Claiming ownership of music that belongs to another artist is a violation of these guidelines and applicable copyright law

Church Verification

Verified churches and ministries

Church verification on Worsship is for registered churches and recognised ministries. The badge helps maintain trust within the community.

Verification requirements

  • Only apply for verification if you represent an actual registered church or formal ministry
  • Verified church status is granted at Worsship's sole discretion and may be revoked if guidelines are violated

Verification violations

  • Providing false information in a verification request is grounds for permanent account suspension
  • Attempting to impersonate a verified church is a serious violation

Referral Programme

Growing the faith community

Worsship operates a referral programme to grow our faith community. Participation requires honest and genuine referrals.

Referral requirements

  • Your referral link is personal - each link is tied to your account
  • Referral rewards are credited when a referred user completes genuine qualifying actions: email verification, profile completion, following a creator, and wallet activity
  • Incentivised referrals must be honest - do not misrepresent what Worsship is in order to recruit referrals
  • Rewards are subject to a 5-day release period following qualification to allow for review
  • The referral programme terms may change. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any updates

Referral abuse

  • Artificially creating accounts, using fake emails, or any form of self-referral is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification and account suspension
  • Worsship reserves the right to withhold rewards where referral activity appears fraudulent, artificial, or abusive

Host Accounts and Monetisation

Creator responsibilities

Host accounts unlock community building, paid channels, and creator monetisation. Hosts agree to additional responsibilities.

Host requirements

  • Paid channels must deliver the value promised to paying members
  • Do not charge for access to content that is freely available elsewhere on your profile
  • Community management is the creator's responsibility - moderate your channels actively
  • Worsship charges a 15% platform fee on all creator earnings withdrawn from the platform
  • Withdrawal processing times are subject to Paystack's settlement timelines

Reporting and Enforcement

Reporting violations

If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, use the report button on any post or profile. Our team reviews all reports.

1

Report submitted

Reports are reviewed by the Worsship team to determine whether guidelines have been violated.

2

Review and action

Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, or referral to law enforcement where required.

3

Final decision

Worsship aims to act consistently and fairly, but the final decision on enforcement rests with Worsship.
